WebMailCompose 0.6 preview
WMCWebMailCompose 0.6
is just around the corner, I have what I believe will be the release but would appreciate any feedback before pushing it out on all the current users.

You can install it here.

New features include:
  • MacOS bugs  fixes
  • Mailto links in mail compose twice fix
  • Localization (english only so far)
  • TBE conflicts fix
  • New option to open in Tab/Current Tab/Window
  • Gmail now works for all WMC upgrades
  • Settings window is now resizable
  • More minor bug fixes....

If you'd like to localize WMC in your language, please head here and translate the files found in the directory and mail them my way.

Cheers

Little bugs... and wish-list!

I think there are at least 2 bugs (0.6 version):
1 - When you upgrade WebMailCompose to a new version, it loses all settings!!!
(Hopefully I saved my "Other" (custom) service to a text file previously)
2 - You say "Settings window is now resizable", but this is not true for me!

I have also a little wish-list:
- It would be nice if I could give a name to my "Other" mail service (can you give the possibility to rename the service?)
- Why not add at least an other one "Other" service? So I could have 2 custom services!
Note: the 2 requests above can be merged together if you give the possibility to rename all the services (so they are all custom) with a list of pre-defined strings for the most common mail services.
You could give a default name on install or, better, you could give a TextBox/ComboBox with the list of the most common services so anyone can restore them when needed.
Another way could be an "Add" button: you begin with 1 (or 0 or more) default line and when the user wants to add new a service, clicks on "Add" and selects one of the pre-defined ones or a custom one; in this way the list becomes dynamic!

Anyway this is a very nice plug-in: a good work and a very good idea!!!

Alessandro.
Thanks for the feedback.
Yes, settings were lost in the upgrade. I didn't think about that, rest assure I will not let that happen again.

The settings window IS resizable when called from the context-menu (althought not from the EM)

Yes, for 0.7 I plan to add more customizations.
Thanks for the feedback
